Classes— Mage

  • Wake of Fire lasts 30 seconds instead of 20; Hot Streak lasts 20 instead of 15, and Ignite no longer applies percentage damage bonuses twice.

Classes— Druid

  • Wrath’s base damage rises approximately 50%; Rejuvenation, Tranquility, and Wild Growth can critically heal. Thorns dynamically uses its caster’s spell power, falling back to base damage if the caster is unavailable or too distant.
  • Mangle becomes Primal Bite and loses its signature debuff; Primal Fury returns to the Blood Frenzy name/icon, and Cat Feral Charge cannot target allies.

Classes— Hunter

  • Furious Howl’s Attack Power bonus falls 40%; Strider Kick adds 30% movement speed for 3 seconds, Lacerating Strikes can crit, and leaving Lone Wolf no longer imposes a 4% damage penalty with a pet.

Classes— Paladin

  • Holy Strike’s weapon coefficients become 25/29/32/36/39/43/46/50% across ranks; its cooldown falls from 12 to 10 seconds and Improved Holy Strike is removed. Righteous Fury’s Holy threat bonus becomes 60% instead of 90%.

Classes— Priest

  • Renew can critically heal; Power Word: Shield overwrites existing shields without Weakened Soul, Starshards benefits from Twilight Focus pushback protection, and Dark Sacrifice no longer breaks damage-sensitive crowd control.

Classes— Rogue

  • Using Sap on a PvP-flagged target correctly flags the Rogue for PvP.

Classes— Shaman

  • Elemental Fury and Elemental Alacrity swap rows 3 and 6; Lava Burst ranks 1–2 deal about 10% more base damage than comparable Lightning Bolt ranks, and Rage of the Far Seer loses its casting-speed bonus.
  • Flametongue Totem cannot stack through repeated casts or coexist with Flametongue Weapon/Windfury Totem; Tranquil Air, Windfury, and Grace of Air do not stack together across Shamans.

Classes— Warlock

  • Voidwalker Sacrifice gains the correct 10% spell-healing scaling; Life Tap’s tooltip correctly describes Health conversion and Spirit scaling.

Classes— Warrior

  • Sunder Armor threat is corrected across ranks; Bloodthrill procs at 4/8/12/16/20% from main-hand melee attacks only. Slam’s cooldown becomes 18 seconds, with Improved Slam reducing it by 1.5/3 seconds.

Talents— Warrior

  • Bastion and Focused Rage swap Protection rows 5 and 6, making Focused Rage available earlier.

Items

  • Minor/Lesser/regular Wizard Oil return to 8/16/24 spell power; Brilliant Wizard Oil is unchanged. Wands no longer gain damage from the user’s spell damage.

General

  • Beta class respecs drop to 1 silver after an hour; players can buff, cast, and craft while waiting for campfire buffs, and sitting, sleeping, lying down, or kneeling can qualify.

User Interface

  • Cooldown Manager is optional and initially supports Druid, Mage, Priest, Warrior, and Warlock; gamepad flyouts gain forms, pets, auras, and stances with new compact/targeting settings.
