What it does
Taunts the enemy under your mouse cursor; with no enemy there, your target.
How to use
When a monster runs to a healer, point at it (on screen or on its nameplate) and press. You keep tanking your own target.

#showtooltip Taunt- The button shows Taunt: its icon, cooldown and tooltip

- Otherwise:Cast Taunt · On: Your target, or the game's normal targeting
Limitations
- Taunt needs Defensive Stance.
Compatibility
How to add a macro in the game
- Type /macro in the chat box and press Enter, or open the game menu and choose Macros.
- Choose New. Give the macro a name and pick the question-mark icon: with #showtooltip the button then shows the spell it casts.
- On this page, choose a macro and press Copy Macro.
- Click into the macro window's text box and paste (Ctrl+V, or ⌘V on a Mac).
- Drag the macro's icon from the window onto an action bar.
General Macros are shared by all your characters on the account; Character Specific Macros belong to one character. Class macros belong in the character tab.
