No accounts
Wowcalc has no accounts and no sign-in. It doesn't ask for your name or email address and keeps no data about you on its servers.
Stored in your browser
Your saved characters, builds, guide progress and settings are kept in your browser's storage on your device, and an offline cache keeps copies of pages you've opened so they load faster. Wowcalc doesn't receive any of it. A character backup you export stays wherever you save it.
Google Analytics
On wowcalc.net, Google Analytics counts page views and visits so we can see which pages people use. It sets cookies and receives information about your browser and device; Google uses your IP address to estimate your country and doesn't store it. Wowcalc sees reports, not who you are.
Hosting
Cloudflare delivers the site. To do that and to keep out automated abuse, it processes each request, including your IP address, and may set a short-lived security cookie.
Your choices
You can clear the site's data in your browser's settings at any time; that removes saved characters too, so export a backup first. You can block Google Analytics with your browser's tracking protection, a content blocker or Google's opt-out add-on.
