What it does

Starts auto-attack, then queues Heroic Strike on your next swing, or Cleave while Shift is held.

How to use

Spend spare rage with it: one target without Shift, two or more with Shift. Heroic Strike and Cleave hit on your next swing, so auto-attack has to be running.

How it works

  1. #showtooltip
    • The button shows whatever the macro will cast: its icon, cooldown and tooltip
  2. /startattack
    • Start auto-attack
  3. /cast [mod:shift] Cleave; Heroic Strike
    • Option 1:Cast CleaveWhen:Shift is held
    • Otherwise:Cast Heroic Strike

Limitations

  • Pressing it again while a strike is queued doesn't cancel it.

How to add a macro in the game
  1. Type /macro in the chat box and press Enter, or open the game menu and choose Macros.
  2. Choose New. Give the macro a name and pick the question-mark icon: with #showtooltip the button then shows the spell it casts.
  3. On this page, choose a macro and press Copy Macro.
  4. Click into the macro window's text box and paste (Ctrl+V, or ⌘V on a Mac).
  5. Drag the macro's icon from the window onto an action bar.

General Macros are shared by all your characters on the account; Character Specific Macros belong to one character. Class macros belong in the character tab.
