What it does

Stops your auto-attack, calls your pet back to you, then casts Feign Death.

How to use

Press it when a monster turns to you in a dungeon, or to drop out of a losing fight.

  1. #showtooltip Feign Death
    • The button shows Feign Death: its icon, cooldown and tooltip
  2. /stopattack
    • Stop auto-attack
  3. /petfollow
    • Call your pet back to follow you
  4. /cast Feign Death
    • Cast Feign Death

Limitations

  • An enemy can resist it and keep attacking you; move or cast to get up.

How to add a macro in the game
  1. Type /macro in the chat box and press Enter, or open the game menu and choose Macros.
  2. Choose New. Give the macro a name and pick the question-mark icon: with #showtooltip the button then shows the spell it casts.
  3. On this page, choose a macro and press Copy Macro.
  4. Click into the macro window's text box and paste (Ctrl+V, or ⌘V on a Mac).
  5. Drag the macro's icon from the window onto an action bar.

General Macros are shared by all your characters on the account; Character Specific Macros belong to one character. Class macros belong in the character tab.
