Overview

Mapster makes a few changes to the world map; its author calls it a simple map mod. Its current release is for Forever and the retail game only: there is no Classic Era, TBC or Wrath version.

Installation

Download the WoW Forever file, extract it into _forever_/Interface/AddOns, then restart the game and enable it in the AddOns list.

Configuration

Commands

  • /mapsterOpens Mapster's options.

First setup

  1. Type /mapster, or open Mapster in the game's AddOns options.
  2. Set the map's transparency, and how far it fades while you move.
  3. Change the map's scale if you don't want it to fill the screen.

Advanced settings

  • Adjust the size of your player arrow and of the quest icons on the map.
