Fire Mage Guide — Class Guides · WoW Forever

Fire damage and crits: Ignite, Combustion and stronger fire spells.

A cloth-wearing caster who deals Arcane, Fire and Frost damage from range, controls enemies with Polymorph and frost spells, and conjures food, water and portals. More about the mage

How to play

Fire in WoW Forever is built on crits: Heating Up makes your next Pyroblast faster after critical strikes with Fireball, Frostfire Bolt, Fire Blast and Scorch, stacking up to three times, and Fire Blast adds a stack whenever it deals damage. Incineration adds crit to Fire Blast and Scorch, Master of Elements refunds mana, and Combustion stacks crit for a burst.

Cast Fireball (or Frostfire Bolt), Fire Blast when ready to build Heating Up, and a faster Pyroblast once stacks are up. Scorch keeps Fire Vulnerability on the target.

Blast Wave and Flamestrike handle packs, and Ignite still turns big crits into burns.
