Teams
- Form a team for one bracket: 2v2, 3v3 or 5v5. A roster can hold twice the bracket's size (four, six or ten players).
- You must be level 70 to join a team. Skirmishes can be played without a team, for practice; they don't change ratings or give Arena Points.
- You can be on one team per bracket.
Rating and Arena Points
- Every rated game changes your rating, win or lose, though a new team can't lose rating in its first few games.
- Arena Points are awarded at the weekly reset for the previous week. Play at least 10 games in a bracket to be eligible.
- You get the points of whichever eligible bracket gives the most. 2v2 earns 76% and 3v3 88% of the 5v5 points at the same rating.
- You can hold up to 5,000 Arena Points.
Gear and seasons
- Arena Points buy level 70 epic gear. Some pieces also need a personal rating; in the current Anniversary season weapons need 1,700.
- Rated games are played only while a season is active. Season titles go by standing in your region; the top titles last until the end of the next season, the very top ones forever.
- Vendors are at the Ring of Trials in Nagrand, the Circle of Blood in Blade's Edge Mountains and Area 52 in Netherstorm.
