What it does

Casts Dispel Magic on the unit under your cursor (a harmful magic effect off a friend, a buff off an enemy) or on your target. With Shift, Abolish Disease on a friend.

How to use

Point at the frame of a player with a debuff and press it; point at an enemy to strip its buff.

How to add a macro in the game
  1. Type /macro in the chat box and press Enter, or open the game menu and choose Macros.
  2. Choose New. Give the macro a name and pick the question-mark icon: with #showtooltip the button then shows the spell it casts.
  3. On this page, choose a macro and press Copy Macro.
  4. Click into the macro window's text box and paste (Ctrl+V, or ⌘V on a Mac).
  5. Drag the macro's icon from the window onto an action bar.

General Macros are shared by all your characters on the account; Character Specific Macros belong to one character. Class macros belong in the character tab.
