What it does

Outside Battle Stance it switches to Battle Stance; in it, it casts Retaliation.

How to use

Use it when several melee enemies hit you from the front, such as rogues and warriors at a flag. Attacks from behind aren't returned.

Requirements

How it works

  1. #showtooltip Retaliation
    • The button shows Retaliation: its icon, cooldown and tooltip
  2. /cast [nostance:1] Battle Stance; Retaliation
    • Option 1:Cast Battle StanceWhen:You aren't in Battle Stance
    • Otherwise:Cast Retaliation

Limitations

  • Retaliation needs Battle Stance.

How to add a macro in the game
  1. Type /macro in the chat box and press Enter, or open the game menu and choose Macros.
  2. Choose New. Give the macro a name and pick the question-mark icon: with #showtooltip the button then shows the spell it casts.
  3. On this page, choose a macro and press Copy Macro.
  4. Click into the macro window's text box and paste (Ctrl+V, or ⌘V on a Mac).
  5. Drag the macro's icon from the window onto an action bar.

General Macros are shared by all your characters on the account; Character Specific Macros belong to one character. Class macros belong in the character tab.
