  • Nagrand

Take the town of Halaa from the other faction's guards. Kills there earn Halaa Battle Tokens and the Oshu'gun Crystal Powder quests Halaa Research Tokens; the side that holds the town can buy from its quartermasters, including talbuk mounts.

  • Wintergrasp

Scheduled battles for Wintergrasp Fortress: the attackers build siege vehicles at the workshops to break its walls. Holding the fortress opens the Vault of Archavon to your faction. The battle and its quests pay Stone Keeper's Shards and Wintergrasp Marks of Honor, which buy Titan-Forged gear, heirlooms and more.

How PvP works in Wrath of the Lich King

Honor is a currency, as in The Burning Crusade: you earn it from kills, battleground objectives and quests and can hold up to 75,000. Arena gear costs Arena Points, awarded each week from your arena team's rating; the Wrath Classic client caps them at 10,000. Some pieces also need a personal rating.

Two battlegrounds join the four from earlier expansions: the Strand of the Ancients, a siege fought in two rounds, and the Isle of Conquest (from Phase 3), a 40-player battle of vehicles and keeps. Two arenas join the three: the Dalaran Sewers and the Ring of Valor.

Arena seasons

Wrath Classic's rated play ran from Season 5, which began with the weekly reset of October 4–5, 2022, to Season 8; each content phase brought a new season and its gladiator gear: Deadly, Furious, Relentless and Wrathful.

Wintergrasp

Northrend's world PvP zone is fought over in scheduled battles: the attackers bring siege vehicles against the fortress, and the side that holds it opens the Vault of Archavon raid for its faction. Wintergrasp Marks of Honor and Stone Keeper's Shards buy the Wintergrasp quartermasters' rewards, listed with the gear.
