    Tanks
Hold Nadox and gather the swarmers on you; when the Ahn'kahar guardian spawns, pick it up too so the group can kill it.

    • BloodthirstInstantly attack the target causing 120% of normal weapon damage. In addition, the next 3 successful melee attacks will restore 1% health. This effect lasts 10 sec.

A San'layn prince. He's shielded until the two spheres in the room are activated; then he casts Bloodthirst, summons Flame Spheres and vanishes to Embrace a player, draining them until enough damage breaks it.

    Tanks
After each Embrace of the Vampyr he drops his target and comes back for whoever is closest: taunt him back to you at once.
    Healers
Heal the embraced player while the group breaks it.
    Damage dealers
Damage him hard during Embrace to free the player; avoid Flame Spheres.

    Healers
Cure his poison and stay away from the poisonous mushrooms, which burst into clouds when killed.
    Damage dealers
Kill the healthy mushrooms and eat them to clear Mini; avoid the poisonous ones and keep damage on Amanitar.

    Tanks
Hold her while she's on the ground; when she floats up for the ritual, move the group to the Twilight Volunteer she chooses.
    Healers
Heal through her Lightning Bolt and Thundershock; Cyclone Strike hits everyone close to her, so stand back.
    Damage dealers
When she floats up, kill the chosen Twilight Volunteer before it reaches her: a successful sacrifice makes her hit much harder.

    Healers
In Insanity, heal yourself while killing your visions.
    Damage dealers
Interrupt Mind Flay; in Insanity, kill the visions of your party.

Before you go

  • Kill Nadox's guardian swarmer first; it shields him.
  • Herald Volazj's Insanity splits the group into phases: each player fights the others' shadows alone.
  • Normal needs only the level. Heroic needs level 80 and no key: the party leader sets the difficulty before entering.
