Overview

A necromancy school beneath Caer Darrow. The final headmaster appears after the six study-room bosses are defeated. This guide covers the original dungeon rather than its later redesign.

How to get there

Cross the bridge to Caer Darrow in southeastern Western Plaguelands. The entrance is beneath the ruined keep on the island.

Alliance

Stage at Chillwind Camp and approach Caer Darrow across the lake road.

Requirements & attunements

The Skeleton Key opens the entrance gate; one holder or suitable lockpicking can open it for the group. The Viewing Room route uses the key obtained from Rattlegore.

Tips & preparation

Bring disease and curse removal; some student-room debuffs greatly increase healing pressure.
Clear each side room before moving on to ensure Gandling's spawn conditions are satisfied.
Save a little health and mana for Gandling's teleport rooms rather than exhausting resources on the pull.
