How the warlock plays
Warlocks in WoW Forever have Banes as well as Curses: Bane of Agony and Bane of Doom replace Curse of Agony and Curse of Doom, and Destruction's Bane of Havoc copies part of your damage onto a second target. New spells include Wrack, Incinerate and a reworked Conflagrate.
Life Tap still turns health into mana, Soul Shards still fuel summons and stones, and demons still do real work: the Voidwalker tanks, the Succubus and Incubus seduce, the Felhunter silences and eats magic.
Pandemic lets damage over time crit hard, which makes Affliction a strong single-target spec.

- Cloth with spell damage, hit, Stamina and Intellect; shadow and fire damage gear count.
- Stamina is worth more for warlocks than for other casters: Life Tap turns it into mana.
- A staff, or a dagger or sword with an off-hand, and a wand.
