Best WoW Classic Raid Addons — Addons · WoW Classic

A raid asks a lot of your screen: boss abilities, threat, debuffs and loot. These are the addons raid groups most often expect you to have, or that make the raid leader's job easier.

How we chose

  • Its current release ships for WoW Classic (or partly, as noted).
  • Helps you or your group in a raid fight or its loot.
  • One addon per job.

The picks

  • Warnings and timers for every raid boss, with voice packs and a role filter.

  • Lighter boss warnings, installed as modules; many raid groups use it instead of Deadly Boss Mods.

  • Damage, healing and death logs per fight, for the whole raid.

  • ThreatClassic2Compatible

Threat for everyone on your target, with warnings before you pull aggro.

  • DecursiveCompatible

Shows who needs a dispel and removes debuffs in the order you set.

  • Timers for world buffs before a raid, and which of your characters has which.

  • GargulCompatible

Loot tools: GDKP auctions, soft reserves and rolls.

  • Loot council voting, for guilds that hand out loot by council.

How they compare

Deadly Boss Mods and BigWigs cover the same bosses: use the one your raid uses, and only one.

Gargul runs GDKP auctions, soft reserves and rolls; RCLootCouncil runs council votes. A raid uses the one that matches its loot rules.

Setting them up

  • Update your boss mod before raid night: boss timers change with patches.
  • Ask your raid leader which boss mod and loot addon the raid uses.
