What it does

Casts Hex on your focus if it is a living enemy, otherwise on your target.

How to use

Hex the enemy healer (your focus) and keep damaging your kill target.

  1. #showtooltip Hex
    • The button shows Hex: its icon, cooldown and tooltip
  2. /cast [@focus,harm,nodead][] Hex
    • Option 1:Cast Hex · On: Your focusWhen:It is an enemyIt is alive
    • Otherwise:Cast Hex · On: Your target, or the game's normal targeting

Limitations

  • Damage breaks Hex.

How to add a macro in the game
  1. Type /macro in the chat box and press Enter, or open the game menu and choose Macros.
  2. Choose New. Give the macro a name and pick the question-mark icon: with #showtooltip the button then shows the spell it casts.
  3. On this page, choose a macro and press Copy Macro.
  4. Click into the macro window's text box and paste (Ctrl+V, or ⌘V on a Mac).
  5. Drag the macro's icon from the window onto an action bar.

General Macros are shared by all your characters on the account; Character Specific Macros belong to one character. Class macros belong in the character tab.
