  1. Stonetalon Mountains levels 19–23

    Sun Rock Retreat gives the Horde's Stonetalon Mountains quests around the low twenties.

    Getting there: Ride north-west from the Barrens into Stonetalon Mountains, or fly to Sun Rock Retreat once you have its flight path.

  2. The Barrens levels 20–30 · dungeon runs

    Wailing Caverns in the Barrens, Shadowfang Keep in Silverpine Forest and Blackfathom Deeps in Ashenvale cover the twenties with a group.

    Getting there: Wailing Caverns is south-west of the Crossroads; Shadowfang Keep is in southern Silverpine Forest, reached by the zeppelin to Undercity.

  3. Ashenvale levels 22–26

    Splintertree Post and Zoram'gar Outpost give the Horde's Ashenvale quests in the low-to-mid twenties; Blackfathom Deeps is reached from Zoram'gar.

    Getting there: Ride north from the Barrens into Ashenvale, or fly to Splintertree Post once you have its flight path.

  4. Hillsbrad Foothills levels 25–30

    Tarren Mill gives the Horde's Hillsbrad Foothills quests in the mid-to-high twenties; Shadowfang Keep is in neighbouring Silverpine Forest.

    Getting there: Take the zeppelin from Orgrimmar to Undercity, then ride south through Silverpine Forest into Hillsbrad Foothills.

  5. Thousand Needles levels 28–33

    Freewind Post and the Mirage Raceway give the Horde's Thousand Needles quests around the thirties; Razorfen Kraul is on the Barrens border.

    Getting there: Take the zeppelin from Undercity to Orgrimmar, then fly to Freewind Post once you have its flight path.

  6. Tirisfal Glades levels 30–40 · dungeon runs

    The four wings of the Scarlet Monastery in Tirisfal Glades, with Razorfen Kraul and Razorfen Downs in the southern Barrens, give a group dungeons for the whole of the thirties.

    Getting there: The Scarlet Monastery is north-east of Brill; the two Razorfen dungeons are at the southern end of the Barrens.

  7. Desolace levels 32–36

    Shadowprey Village and Ghost Walker Post give the Horde's Desolace quests in the mid-thirties.

    Getting there: Fly to Shadowprey Village once you have its flight path; otherwise ride south from Stonetalon Mountains.

  8. Stranglethorn Vale levels 34–38

    Grom'gol Base Camp gives the Horde's first Stranglethorn Vale quests, and Booty Bay serves both factions.

    Getting there: Take the zeppelin from Orgrimmar to Grom'gol Base Camp.

  9. Arathi Highlands levels 36–40

    Hammerfall gives the Horde's Arathi Highlands quests in the high thirties.

    Getting there: Take the zeppelin from Grom'gol to Undercity, fly to Tarren Mill and ride east into Arathi Highlands.

  10. Dustwallow Marsh levels 37–41

    Brackenwall Village gives the Horde's Dustwallow Marsh quests at the end of the thirties.

    Getting there: Take the zeppelin from Undercity to Orgrimmar, then fly to Brackenwall Village once you have its flight path; otherwise ride east from the southern Barrens.

  11. Badlands levels 40–43

    Kargath gives the Horde's Badlands quests in the early forties, and Uldaman fits the same levels.

    Getting there: Take the zeppelin from Orgrimmar to Grom'gol, fly to Kargath once you have its flight path.

  12. Badlands levels 40–50 · dungeon runs

    Uldaman, then Zul'Farrak and Maraudon on Kalimdor, cover the forties for a group, between quests in the Badlands and the Hinterlands.

    Getting there: Uldaman is between the Badlands and Loch Modan; Zul'Farrak is in northern Tanaris and Maraudon in southern Desolace.

  13. Swamp of Sorrows levels 41–44

    Stonard gives the Horde's Swamp of Sorrows quests in the early forties; the Sunken Temple is in the swamp.

    Getting there: Fly to Stonard once you have its flight path; otherwise ride east from Duskwood through Deadwind Pass.

  14. Stranglethorn Vale levels 42–45

    Stranglethorn Vale's later quests at Grom'gol and Booty Bay suit the early-to-mid forties.

    Getting there: Fly to Grom'gol or Booty Bay.

  15. Tanaris levels 44–47

    Gadgetzan gives quests to both factions from the mid-forties; Zul'Farrak is in northern Tanaris.

    Getting there: Take the boat from Booty Bay to Ratchet, then fly to Gadgetzan.

    Camp Mojache gives the Horde's Feralas quests in the mid-to-high forties.

    Getting there: Fly to Camp Mojache once you have its flight path; otherwise ride south from Desolace.

    Revantusk Village gives the Horde's Hinterlands quests in the high forties.

    Getting there: Take the zeppelin from Orgrimmar to Undercity, then fly to Revantusk Village once you have its flight path, or ride east from Hillsbrad Foothills.

  18. Searing Gorge levels 48–51

    Thorium Point gives both factions Searing Gorge quests in the high forties.

    Getting there: Fly to Kargath and ride west into Searing Gorge, or fly to Thorium Point once you have its flight path.

  19. Un'Goro Crater levels 50–54

    Marshal's Refuge gives both factions Un'Goro Crater quests in the early fifties.

    Getting there: Take the zeppelin from Grom'gol or Undercity to Orgrimmar, fly to Gadgetzan and ride west into the crater.

  20. Searing Gorge & Burning Steppes levels 50–58 · dungeon runs

    Blackrock Depths and Lower Blackrock Spire in Blackrock Mountain, plus the Sunken Temple, Stratholme, Scholomance and Dire Maul, give groups the fifties before Outland.

    Getting there: Blackrock Mountain sits between Searing Gorge and Burning Steppes; Thorium Point and Flame Crest are the nearest Horde flight masters.

  21. Felwood levels 52–55

    Bloodvenom Post gives the Horde's Felwood quests in the early-to-mid fifties.

    Getting there: Fly to Bloodvenom Post once you have its flight path; otherwise ride north from Ashenvale.

  23. Burning Steppes levels 53–56

    Flame Crest gives the Horde a few Burning Steppes quests; Blackrock Depths and Lower Blackrock Spire are in Blackrock Mountain.

    Getting there: Take the zeppelin from Orgrimmar to Grom'gol and fly to Flame Crest once you have its flight path.

  24. Western Plaguelands levels 54–57

    Western Plaguelands' quests suit the mid-fifties; most of the Horde's are handed in back in Tirisfal Glades, on the zone's western border, and Scholomance is in the zone.

    Getting there: Fly to Undercity and ride east through Tirisfal Glades into Western Plaguelands.

  25. Winterspring levels 55–58

    Everlook in Winterspring gives both factions quests into the late fifties, before Outland.

  26. Hellfire Peninsula levels 58–62

    Hellfire Peninsula is the first stop in Outland: Honor Hold for the Alliance and Thrallmar for the Horde give most of its quests, and Hellfire Citadel holds the first Outland dungeons.

    Getting there: Fly to Stonard in the Swamp of Sorrows, ride south into the Blasted Lands and walk through the Dark Portal, which opens at level 58, onto Hellfire Peninsula.

    Quest hubs: Thrallmar, Falcon Watch, Spinebreaker Ridge

    Dungeons: Hellfire Ramparts (60–62), The Blood Furnace (61–63)

  27. Zangarmarsh levels 62–64

    Zangarmarsh's quests suit the early sixties, many of them for the Cenarion Expedition at Cenarion Refuge; Coilfang Reservoir's dungeons are in the zone's central lake.

    Getting there: Ride west from Hellfire Peninsula into Zangarmarsh. Telredor and Orebor Harborage (Alliance) and Zabra'jin and Swamprat Post (Horde) have flight masters.

    Quest hubs: Cenarion Refuge, Zabra'jin, Swamprat Post, Sporeggar

    Dungeons: The Slave Pens (62–64), The Underbog (63–65)

  28. Terokkar Forest levels 64–65

    Terokkar Forest surrounds Shattrath City, the neutral capital; Allerian Stronghold (Alliance) and Stonebreaker Hold (Horde) give its quests, and the Auchindoun dungeons are in the zone's south.

    Getting there: Ride south-east from Zangarmarsh into Terokkar Forest; Shattrath City is on its north-western edge.

    Dungeons: Mana-Tombs (64–66), Auchenai Crypts (65–67)

  29. Nagrand levels 65–67

    Nagrand's quests, given at Telaar for the Alliance and Garadar for the Horde, suit the mid-sixties.

    Getting there: Ride west from Terokkar Forest past Shattrath City into Nagrand. Telaar and Garadar have flight masters.

  30. Blade's Edge Mountains levels 67–68

    Blade's Edge Mountains' quests, from Sylvanaar and Toshley's Station (Alliance), Thunderlord Stronghold and Mok'Nathal Village (Horde) and neutral Evergrove, suit the late sixties.

    Getting there: Ride north through Zangarmarsh into Blade's Edge Mountains. Sylvanaar and Toshley's Station (Alliance), Thunderlord Stronghold and Mok'Nathal Village (Horde) and Evergrove have flight masters.

    Quest hubs: Thunderlord Stronghold, Evergrove, Ogri'la, Mok'Nathal Village

  31. Netherstorm levels 68–70

    Netherstorm's quests, centred on the goblin town of Area 52, take both factions to the level cap; Tempest Keep's dungeons float above the zone.

    Getting there: Ride east from Blade's Edge Mountains into Netherstorm; Area 52 has a flight master for both factions.

  32. Shadowmoon Valley levels 69–70

    Shadowmoon Valley's quests at Wildhammer Stronghold (Alliance) and Shadowmoon Village (Horde) finish the climb to 70, in the shadow of the Black Temple.

    Getting there: Fly to Allerian Stronghold or Stonebreaker Hold in Terokkar Forest and ride east into Shadowmoon Valley. Wildhammer Stronghold (Alliance) and Shadowmoon Village (Horde) have flight masters.
